What hygienic site practices covers in the assessment
- Store pipe and fittings off the ground on boards or racks, not in the mud, with the end caps left on
- Whenever work stops, cap or plug every open pipe end
- De-water the trench before laying pipe — never lay pipe in standing or contaminated water
- Keep the inside of the pipe and fittings clean and dry
- Do not use tools that have been in foul water on clean-water work unless they have been disinfected
- Wear clean overalls and keep the work area tidy
